 Eastern Lands is a roleplay based on the late medieval world of Tamora Pierce, set over a hundred years before The Song of the Lioness in the year 312 in the Human Era.
Baird V has been on the throne two years and during that time he has spent more money than many kings before him. Tortall is in a time of relative peace but has its sights set on conquering its neighbours.

Residences
The Residences of the Royal Palace are split into different wings of the sprawling palace. The Royal Wing is home to the Contés, as well as visiting royalty. The Noble's Wing is really a misnomer, suites for nobility found spread out in the palace. The pages get their own wing, devoted to their housing and education.

Palace Grounds and Gardens
Quite extensive, the Palace grounds extend well around the buildings itself, and clear up to the Royal Forest. Comprising of many areas such as mazes, gardens, most of the space is dedicated to elaborate formal gardens

Other Areas
For all the other areas of the palace, some are noted, some are not. There's even an indoor tennis court somewhere in the maze of corridors and buildings.

The Grand Progress
Looking to explore his new lands, Baird of Conté is on Progress as fiefs play host to him and bankrupt themselves as they impress the Crown.
Because a castle will never have enough room to house everyone, most of the court live in a sprawling tent city centered around the castle lands.
